Your brain is a town. You are the town planner.
That is the whole idea, and a child can hold it. Every part of the brain is a part of the town with a job to do, and the child is the one who decides what gets built, what gets calmed down, and what gets a second look.
Daniel's Diaries™ is gamified neuroscience: it teaches kids how their brains work, and what to do with that, by playing. Emotional regulation, attention, impulse, worry, and the alarm that goes off before anyone has decided anything is wrong are all real brain science, taught as seven Super Skills a child earns rather than a lesson they sit through. Daniel, a golden retriever, is the guide through all of it.
It was built by a behaviour support practitioner for the gap between sessions. A child gets the language and the skills. The adults around them get the same words, so what is learned in the game is what gets said at the kitchen table, in the classroom, and on the support shift.
What you see between sessions.
Daniel's Diaries™ is built to sit alongside behaviour support. The Practitioner Hub is where you see every child linked to your practice in one place: who was active this week, what each child is working on, what needs your attention, and the documents that come out of it, without adding a session to get any of it.
Overview and caseload
Every child linked to your practice, who was active this week, modules completed across the caseload, and which goal reviews are due. Children who have gone quiet rise to the top so nothing drifts.
Data and insights
Read only engagement data from the app: the module a child is in right now, Super Skill coverage, mood check ins, parent reported weekly check ins, module completions, and the child's own module responses.
Goals and behaviours
Goals are linked to focus areas, so the modules a child completes in matching Super Skills count toward the goal automatically. Behaviours of concern are recorded by you and never interpreted by the app, with room for the full detail a behaviour plan needs: operational definition, setting events, triggers, likely function, and proactive and response strategies.
Notes and documents
Private session notes the family never sees, and documents generated from app data and your clinical input: a support plan, an NDIS recommendation letter, and a plain language progress summary you can share to the family's dashboard. Print or save as PDF.
Families join with a private invite code from you and use Daniel's Diaries™ on their own family subscription. The hub also holds explainer workbooks and guides for your practice, starting with the Brain Town model the program is built on and the map of how the Super Skills fit together. It is educational, not clinical: judgment, formulation, and treatment stay with you.
Using Daniel's Diaries™ with the children you support.
If you are a behaviour support practitioner, psychologist, OT, speech pathologist, school counsellor, or a service working with children, and you would like to see the Practitioner Hub properly or run the program with your caseload, get in touch. We will walk you through it and talk about what fits your setting.
