Positive Behaviour Support

Behaviour Support That
Starts With Understanding

Neurodivergent affirming. Trauma informed. Evidence based. We work with children, young people, and adults whose behaviour is telling us something important about their needs, their environment, and their history. Our job is to understand it and build support that works.

Services

Assessment, planning,
training, and review

Every service is grounded in functional understanding, delivered with dignity, and designed to reduce restriction and build capacity.

Functional Behaviour Assessment
Comprehensive assessment of behaviour in context. We identify function, setting events, and maintaining conditions. Not a checklist. A genuine investigation into what is happening and why.
Behaviour Support Plans
Interim and comprehensive BSPs that translate assessment into action. Prevention focused, least restrictive, and written so the people who implement them can actually understand them.
Staff and Carer Training
Person specific, interactive training built from the participant's actual plan, their actual triggers, and their actual strategies. Delivered in person or via digital interactive packages.
Psychoeducation
Structured programs that build understanding of neurodevelopment, trauma, regulation, and behaviour for the people who live and work alongside participants every day.
Consultation and Review
Expert advice on complex presentations, restrictive practice reduction, and environmental design. Ongoing data collection, strategy review, and plan adaptation.

Our Approach

Behaviour is communication

Every behaviour has a function. It is not random and it is not a choice to be difficult. It is the best strategy a person has given their neurodevelopment, their history, and their current environment.

Neurodivergent Affirming

Difference is not deficit. We support people to thrive as they are.

Trauma Informed

Safety first. Connection before correction. Behaviour makes sense when you know the history.

Function Focused

Every strategy links to the function. If we do not understand the why, the intervention will not work.

Least Restrictive

We actively work to reduce and eliminate restrictive practices. More freedom, not more control.

We do not write reports that sit in drawers. We build support that works in the real world.

Specialist Expertise

Complex presentations.
Clear support.

We have particular expertise in neurodevelopmental presentations and complex trauma. ASD, ADHD, FASD, developmental trauma, co-occurring profiles, and the full range of behaviours that signal unmet needs in people with disability.

We work with children, young people, and adults across home, school, supported living, and community settings. Referrals come through NDIS plans, support coordinators, families, and allied health teams.

Children and young people
School refusal, emotional dysregulation, aggression, self injury, social difficulties, and behaviours that signal unmet needs.
Adults
People in supported independent living, group homes, and community settings requiring specialist positive behaviour support.
Families and carers
Training, psychoeducation, and strategies that are realistic for the home environment, not just the clinical setting.
Out of home care
Specialist support for children in foster, kinship, and residential care with the additional layers of trauma and systemic complexity.
Service area
New England and Brisbane regions and surrounds. We understand regional contexts, thin markets, and the reality that support needs to work with what is actually available.

Daniel's Diaries

Your brain is a town.
You are the town planner.

Daniel's Diaries is our adaptive, neuroscience based psychoeducation system for children and young people. Built on the core metaphor that thoughts are roads, repetition builds main streets, and the child is the town planner with agency over their own brain development.

Seven Super Skills are earned internal capacities that build intrinsic motivation rather than compliance. The system adapts across four levels of concept depth, skill complexity, language evolution, and pathway choice. Neurodivergent affirming and trauma informed by design.

The same neuroscience framework powers our adult workplace psychoeducation programs, translated for grown up brains and grown up pressures. The science does not change with age. The application does.

Social Impact

Everything we do feeds
something bigger

Every service we provide, every program we deliver, and every workbook we sell funds protective care for vulnerable children through POSU.

POSU — Pull Our Socks Up

Monthly sock deliveries as micro interventions

Every month, children identified by caseworkers, schools, and community organisations as vulnerable receive a delivery of socks paired with messages designed to build hope, autonomy, and the experience of being consistently cared for.

For children in out of home care or unstable environments where predictable positive events are rare, a monthly delivery from a consistent source is psychologically significant. A tangible safety cue. A micro experience of attachment. A reminder that someone is thinking about them.

The behaviour support practice funds it. Daniel's Diaries promotes it. Our corporate programs scale it.
